I am a wildly imaginative only child who turned a love of storytelling into a career built around culture, creativity, and connection.

I have spent more than eight years working across social media, content strategy, and journalism, and I have learned that numbers matter, but they are never the whole story. What really excites me is understanding why something works. Why people stop scrolling. Why they comment. Why they share a post with a group chat or come back for the next one.

My work lives at the intersection of voice and strategy. I write copy, shape narratives, and help guide creative direction in a way that feels natural, culturally aware, and intentional. I have covered red carpets and major events, led social storytelling for entertainment, beauty, and fashion brands, and worked on campaigns and partnerships that turned strong ideas into real results.

I think a lot about tone and timing. I care about how something sounds, who it is for, and how it fits into the moment. I see copy as more than a caption. It sets the mood, invites people in, and helps a brand feel human. I collaborate closely with editors, creatives, producers, and partners to make sure the work feels aligned and clear across platforms.

I am very comfortable with metrics, but I am not driven by numbers alone. I want the work to land emotionally as well as perform. Whether I am writing in real time, building out a campaign, or refining brand voice, my goal is always to create content that feels thoughtful, engaging, and worth paying attention to.

As the Social Lead and Manager for HelloBeautiful and Bossip under iOne Digital, I lead comprehensive social media strategies, driving significant audience engagement and growth for two of the most prominent pop culture and lifestyle brands. My role involves overseeing both organic and paid content across platforms, developing and implementing innovative, data-driven strategies to meet and exceed business objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with editors, producers, and stakeholders to produce impactful content strategies. Under my leadership, HelloBeautiful saw a 61% increase in impressions and a 28% rise in engagement, while Bossip’s engagement grew by 47%, leading to a substantial 84% increase in audience growth.
  • Campaign Management & Content Creation: Successfully conceptualized and led multiple high-impact social campaigns. This includes producing and structuring the format for the "Savor The Culture" series, which secured a $400K partnership with DoorDash. The series garnered over 389K+ views and significantly boosted engagement across platforms.
  • On-the-Ground Event Coverage: Spearheaded social media coverage for major entertainment events like the 2023 VMAs, which resulted in the highest-performing video in iOne Digital’s history, with over 19.8M views, 19.7M reach, and 19.1M impressions. I also led coverage for red carpets such as Divorce in the Black and The Deliverance junkets, significantly increasing engagement across channels.
  • Video & Digital Covers: Conceptualized and executed digital cover rollouts, including "real quick" rapid-fire interviews with cover stars. Led the social strategy for high-profile cover collaborations, such as Taraji P. Henson’s Target-sponsored feature.
  • Innovative Content & Sponsorships: Created sellable, culturally relevant content that has contributed to cross-departmental success, including campaigns like "Savor The Culture" and “Which Friend Are You?” which resulted in brand partnerships with DoorDash and Amazon Prime.
  • Results-Driven Growth: My strategic focus on social-first content, video editing, and content planning has driven a 65% increase in video views for Bossip and a 16% overall audience growth across both brands, with notable spikes in impressions, engagement, and follower acquisition.
